BTS Secures Canterbury Riverside Project

Build-Therm Services has secured the façade works for Block 6-10 of the student accommodation which forms part of Canterbury Riverside, the new mixed-use development in the Kingsmead area of Canterbury being developed by Linkcity and built by Bouygues UK. Furthermore, this will be our first job working with Bouygues UK since 2016, where we landed ourselves an INCA award. The award was Project of the Year 2017 for our work on Langley Academy Primary School.

The work consists of two blocks that will be installed to Bouygues UK modular constructed building/s. The systems that will be used from our trusted suppliers are:

Block 6
– StoTherm Mineral M Roto-Fix Plus System with an acrylic brick slip finish
– Vitrabond A2 Cladding System with Mineral Wool Insulation
– Equitone Linea Cladding System with Mineral Wool Insulation

Block 7-10
– StoTherm Mineral M Roto-Fix Plus System with either a render or an acrylic brick slip finish

The Canterbury Riverside scheme, being developed by Linkcity, is a £115m development spread over 8.4-acres. Build-Therm will be contributing to the 491 new student residences. BTS look forward to starting on site and thank everyone who contributed to winning the contract.
