About this project
20 Mint Walk saw the refurbishment of the upper levels of the residential property in Croydon. The project alongside Elliot Group delivered the removal of the current façade of the building and provided the installation of an upgraded and compliant envelope.
The replacement of the façade will provide a refreshed look to the building as well as ensure safety to the residents and surrounding buildings. While working on 20 mint walk we were operating within a live environment meaning scheduling and communication had to be pivotal to the development of the project.
The refurbishment of this building saw us utilise the original aluminium panels. Respraying panels help to; prolong the lifespan, reduce disruption, minimise disturbance as well as protect against atmospheric, chemical, and mechanical deterioration. However, we replaced and updated the render and brick slips to the upper levels of the building.
Scope of work includes:
Removal: EWI coved Facades, ACM panels, Celotex Insulation, Remove Aluminium Facia, Remove Existing Brick Slip Cladding.
Installation: Siderise cavity barriers, Wetherby EWI System and Brick Slip System, A1 rated Rockwool mineral wool insulation, and A2-b1-d0 PVDF coated aluminium cladding panels.
