About this project
Hampton by Hilton Canterbury is home to a new 130-bedroom hotel with commercial units on the ground floor. The commercial property will accommodate the growing tourism in the historic city in Kent. The project will also be home to an exclusive Roof Top Bar with breath-taking views of the iconic cathedral this brings a modern twist to the traditional location.
The build has seen the utilisation of our key supply chain as well as our on-site installers. To achieve the desired envelope of works our approach was to use work on a multi-system strategy. The largest proportion of Hampton by Hilton Canterbury exterior facade has used a secret-fixed, aluminium rainscreen cladding system which provided an economically viable as well majestic finish.
The front façade on the build comprises of three angled stones. This feature brings a modern twist to its neighbouring listed buildings. Being the latest addition to the high street it certainly has a modern kerb appeal without distracting from its historic and traditional surroundings. Installing these large ceramic stones required a large amount of hard work from our installers although the finished facade is one to be admired.
