Hemel Hampstead

Build Type

New Build

Allenbuild Limited

Completion Year

Heart of Maylands development in Hemel Hampstead comprised of two modern buildings finished in a variety of envelope solutions to which Build-Therm Services installed the external cladding, insulation and render systems.

The systems not only provide low thermal u values through the insulation incorporated within, but the colour variation in the finishes provided an interesting, aesthetically pleasing façade. Using a multiple material approach, we were able to achieve amazing results. Furthermore, this has attracted both individuals and local businesses to take up residency in new buildings.

With the population expanding the need for a mixed-use property is also growing in demand. Build-Therm Services can approach projects with a Multi system solution to become the subcontractor of choice.

Special Features

The rear of the building saw a mix of timber and render finishing. The use of contrasting sand, sage, and dark wood as well as two different finishes on the render enables a dynamic and bespoke solution to the external façade of the building. Along with the rainscreen cladding as a feature of the building this project saw Build-Therm utilise its full capabilities.
